Hip Throw (O Goshi)

A key principle of Ju-Jitsu is to set up and drill your technique. In this video we look at two ways to attack the Hip Throw. The first one uses a Hip Strike and Kozushi to break balance and pull into a forward direction to execute the Hip Throw. The second entry allows us to Atemi Strike to the upper part of the body, keeping the jab hand away and also gives space to attack with a knee strike before pivoting to execute the throw.
