Reflecting on 2023, it’s been a whirlwind of emotions. Celebrating 40 years of jujitsu stands out as an unforgettable milestone. The camaraderie of budo friends traveling from near and far made it an exceptional day, etched forever in my heart. I’m immensely grateful to everyone who made this occasion truly special.
I also extend my thanks to those who invited me to share my knowledge on the tatami. This year taught me the significance of imparting wisdom beyond physical skill. Jujitsu flourishes through diversity, and I wholeheartedly embrace the chance to learn from others.
I’ve also grateful to have been fortunate to share my passion across various platforms like La Vida Liverpool, Liverpool Echo, Radio Merseyside, Radio 5 Drive, and BBC News Sports Day and we still have a little surprise before the year ends,
I’m eagerly anticipating 2024—a year that holds the promise of teaching internationally, fulfilling a lifelong dream. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my peers and a special thankyou to my training partners, who continuously inspire me to strive for excellence and evolve into the best version of myself.
yours in Budo
