2020 has been a strange year for all, and a difficult one for some. We may be at the end of the year, but we are not yet out of the woods, yet. It has been a particularly bad year for many dojo, has training has not been allowed to go ahead. Here at NJJKR, we recently heard of some particular difficulties experienced by on such dojo, the Muga mushin ryu based in liverpool and run by Sensei Susan king, Shihan. Sensei king was recently awarded 7th Dan by the United KIngdom Budo federation, following a grading on the 12th of December 2020. This was also subsequently recognised by Sensei Peter Constantine 9th Dan karate-do, of the British combat association on the same day. In light of these great achievements and her long time study of jujutsu, I as kanchō of the Nihon jujutsu kobudo Renmei, hereby recognised Sensei king’s achievement, and will be sending her this certificate, kindly produced by the hisazumi Shodokai. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Sensei king, all the best and good luck for the future.
